Boy, 5, dies in snowplough tragedy

A FIVE-YEAR-OLD British boy has died in hospital, two weeks after being buried by snow that was swept aside by a snowplough at a Spanish ski resort.

It is understood he was covered by a mound of snow after the driver failed to see him playing near a ski lift at Baqueira Beret in the Pyrenees. He was named in reports as Frederico Nicholls Lopez, from London.
