Boulevard victim is named

A WOMAN who died after being knocked down by a car in Aberdeen's Beach Boulevard on Monday night was yesterday named as Dayan Chibor, 27, a Nigerian national of the city's Urquhart Road.

Ms Chibor died from her injuries in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after being struck by a car driven by a 23-year-old man at the Links Road junction.

A report is to be submitted to the procurator-fiscal.
