Botox rejected as migraine treatment

DRUGS watchdogs have rejected the use of Botox to treat migraines on the NHS in Scotland.

The Scottish Medicines Consortium said it did not accept the treatment "because there were a number of weaknesses in the clinical and economic data prepared by the manufacturer which meant it did not offer value for money".
