Bosom Buds give women a big day out to remember

EIGHT women with secondary breast cancer have been given a day to remember by charity Bosom Buds of Scotland.

They were picked up from their West Lothian homes by limousine, given a bucks fizz breakfast, a makeover and lunch at Harburn House.

The group also received relaxation therapy, a bouquet of flowers, a goody bag each, and took part in a photoshoot.

The event, supported by The Centre in Livingston and local businesses, was part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Chairwoman of Bosom Buds of Scotland, Mags Fenwick, said: "We were thrilled to host the pamper day for women that deserve VIP treatment.

"We have already raised a fantastic amount via our partnership with The Centre, so it's great to see some of the money going to good use.

"All the ladies had a ball."
