Bookies in red alert as suspicious betting comes to light

THE bookmaker's firm which reported suspicious betting on a football match has contacted the Scottish Premier League to say it has "extra evidence".

Blue Square raised the alarm after a flurry of bets predicting that a Motherwell player would be sent off during the encounter with Hearts. Motherwell has steadfastly defended their player, Steve Jennings, who got the red card.
