Bomb inquiry examines CCTV

Investigators are examining forensic evidence and CCTV footage for clues about who orchestrated the triple bomb attack in Mumbai earlier this week that left 17 people dead.

With no leads, police are mounting a painstaking investigation, combing through surveillance video from the sites of the explosions, looking for suspicious people or activity, India's home secretary said.

Investigators were also studying forensic evidence collected in the three neighbourhoods that were targeted. The attackers placed one bomb on a bus shelter, hid another under rubbish on the road and left the third under an umbrella, officials said.
