'Bomb' bank robber admits charges

A CONVICTED robber who terrified staff and customers by telling them he had a bomb as he held up a bank has pleaded guilty to a string of charges, police said.

Unemployed Matthew Nutley, 36, told people in the Barclays Bank in Ashford, Surrey, that he would "blow their heads off" if they did not obey his commands during the robbery on 28 June."
