Bogus caller
struck twice

A BOGUS caller who struck twice in ten minutes is being hunted by police.

The woman called at a home in Marine Drive, Granton, at around 12.45pm on Wednesday and asked for water. She pushed inside and was given a drink before leaving empty-handed.

At a nearby home, she asked to use the phone to call a taxi. She went to a bedroom and looked through trinket boxes before leaving with nothing.

The suspect is described as white, 28 to 35 years old, 5ft 5in tall, stocky build, with light brown hair, and carrying a tan handbag. She spoke with a local accent.
