Body on beach may be missing man

DETECTIVES investigating the recovery of a man's body on a beach in Fife believe he was local pensioner.

A dogwalker discovered the body of a 68-year-old man on East Sands in St Andrews, Fife, at around 5:30am yesterday. Police are not regarding the death as suspicious.
