Body found in woodland

POLICE searching for a missing man have found a body in woodland near to his Midlothian home.

The body was discovered in Birky Wood, near Crichton Castle, just after 11am yesterday.

Officers were searching for 22-year-old Greg Stevens, who vanished from his home in Bonnyrigg on Wednesday.

Formal identification of the body is yet to take place. However, police said there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances.
