Body found: The body of a man has been found in Elgin following an appeal for missing 75-year-old Ronald Kemp from Moray
Following appeals for missing person Ronald Kemp, 75, police have announced that at around 9.20pm on April 14, the body of a deceased man was found in a rural location in Elgin
The body was found off Calcots Road.
Police have informed Mr Kemp’s family.


A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following appeals in relation to the missing person Ronald Kemp, 75, who was reported missing from the Lhanbryde area, police can now confirm that about 21.20 hours on April 14, 2021 the body of a deceased male was found in a rural location off of Calcots Road, Elgin.”

Hide AdThe news comes after the 75-year-old went missing on Monday.
Mr Kemp – who lived in Lhanbryde – was last seen in the area of the Kingsmill Bridge of Elgin at around 2.20pm on Monday.
