Body found at Seton Sands

A POLICE inquiry has been launched after a woman's body was found in the water at Seton Sands on Wednesday.

Police say they don't believe there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, but they are trying to establish exactly what happened. She has not yet been named, and officers are contacting her next of kin.

A police spokesman said: "The body of a woman was discovered within the water in Seton Sands, East Lothian around 4:50pm on Wednesday 2nd June."
