Silas Humphreys, 16, was reported missing from the Black Isle on Sunday afternoon.
A body was found on Monday during searches for the teenager.
Police said there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course, as is standard procedure.
The boy’s family have been told that a body has been found.
