Body found in Botanics

POLICE have appealed for help after a man's body was found in Glasgow's Botanic Gardens yesterday.

The unidentified corpse was discovered by a member of the public at about 8:55am.

Police said they were treating the death in the Botanic Gardens on Great Western Road as unexplained.

A spokesman said: "A post-mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death."

The spokesman could not provide any information on the age of the man.
