Bobby's tale hits shelves

A NEW potted history charting the story of Greyfriars Bobby has been launched.

George Robinson, spokesman for the One O' Clock Gun and Time Ball Association, has written The Greyfriars Bobby A-Z - in Fact and Fiction, an indexed history of Scotland's most loyal dog.

The 64-page paperback is packed with pictures, and sheds light on many of the characters involved in the story.

The book, which costs 5, is now available at Edinburgh Books in West Port as well as on Amazon.co.uk
