Boaby to raise a glass at the world's largest pub quiz night


Boaby, the proprietor of The Clansman in hit BBC sitcom Still Game, will act as quizmaster at the Molendinar bar in Glasgow on February 7.
The venue is one of 1300 taking part in the national event organised by PubAid, which promotes the charitable work undertaken by the UK’s licensed trade.

Hide AdBoaby - otherwise known as actor Gavin Mitchell - will host the Glasgow leg at the Wellpark Brewery’s in-house bar.
Entrants to the quiz will have the chance to win T in the Park tickets as well as a variety of Scotland football and rugby memorabilia.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Beatson Cancer Charity.
Brewery owners Tennent Caledonian are looking for 15 teams of six contestants to take part in the quiz.

Hide Ad“Pubs and bars across the UK do amazing work every year to raise money for a host of charities,” said Tennent Caledonian managing director Alastair Campbell.
“We are looking forward to playing our part in PubAid’s UK wide world record attempt and looking forward to raising money for the Beatson Cancer Charity.”
Pubs can register to take part in the world record attempt and to raise money for their own good causes up until Thursday, Februay 4.
