A blooming great result

North Berwick has been named Best Small Coastal Resort at the Britain in Bloom Awards for the second consecutive year.

Rosie Oberlander, chairman of North Berwick in Bloom Committee, was in Guernsey to receive the accolade on behalf of the town, which shared the title with Lytham in the north-west of England.

The judges said: “Despite a difficult climate, a good selection of plant material has achieved superb displays.”
