Blaze kills 12 at care centre

Twelve people were killed in a fire early yesterday at a centre for the mentally disabled and elderly near Johannesburg.

It was reported that 34 people were also injured in the blaze in the town of Springs.

Last year, 18 people were killed when a fire swept through a retirement home near Johannesburg.
