Blaze charge man in court

A MAN charged with murdering another male whose body was found in a burning Edinburgh flat has made a second appearance in court.

Frank Moore, 43, of Dalkeith, is alleged to have murdered Stewart Taylor, 33, and attempted to murder Lynsey Methven, 30, in the Capital's Chalmers Crescent earlier this month.

He has also been charged with breach of the peace.

Moore made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court. He was fully committed and remanded in custody.
