Blanche best-loved 'Corrie' character

Sharp-tongued Blanche Hunt has beaten Weatherfield legends such as Hilda Ogden and Elsie Tanner in a poll to be named Coronation Street's best-loved character of all time.

The battleaxe was written out of the show following the death of actress Maggie Jones.
