Black truffle on menu at luxury hotel

ONE of the city's most luxurious hotels showed it can cater for even the most indulgent guests by adding the rare black summer truffle to a range of dishes on its menu.

Hotel Missoni's Cucina imported the delicacy from Italy's Umbria region to add to a range of summer menu dishes.

Head chef Mattia Camorani said: "We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the special truffles from Italy. They are one of my favourite ingredients and they add depth and flavour to any dish. We've had to wait until they were perfectly ripe and full of flavour."
