Bill Bailey brings doubt to city

COMEDIAN Bill Bailey is set for a date in the Capital as part of a UK tour.

The stand-up, who starred in Channel 4 sitcom Black Books and is a regular on panel show Qi, brings his live show, Dandelion Mind, to the Playhouse on November 16.

The show is based loosely on the theme of doubt and is said to include "barely-contained rants about celebrity, TV, creationism and Michael Winner".

Bailey won a Perrier nomination at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995. Tickets for the new show go on sale today from the usual outlets, priced 30.50.
