Bikers fight parking plan

MOTORCYCLISTS from across the city are set to converge on the City Chambers in protest at plans to cut their number of parking spaces.

The Motorcycle Action Group will deliver a petition to the city's transport convener, Councillor Gordon Mackenzie, today.

The council had intended to get rid of many of the city's solo motorbike spaces, but is now set to re-examine the plans.
