THE motorcyclist who was killed in a collision with a car in Aberdeenshire on Wednesday has been named as Eric Robertson, 57, from Mountblairy, Banff.

Mr Robertson died following the collision on the unclassified Thornley road, four miles south of Turriff, near to the junction with the B9001, which connects Inverurie to the A97 Banff road.
The male driver of the car was taken to hospital with suspected minor injuries.
