Big hug for the wonderful Maggie's

THE first architect of the iconic network of Maggie's Centres, Richard Murphy, joined Maggie's Centre staff, Edinburgh Rugby players and people affected by cancer to form a giant hug around his Edinburgh Centre yesterday, to mark the first Love Maggie's Day.

The day saw supporters join centre users for some taster sessions of the workshops Maggie's runs for people living with cancer, and get a chance to talk to staff about the centre. Andrew Anderson, Maggie's Edinburgh head, said: "

It is important for Maggie's to highlight how important it is to raise money for our centres. Love Maggie's Day is a perfect opportunity to do that."
