Bid to change deal on flats

A DEVELOPER planning to build flats on Grove Street has asked to change a legal agreement made with city planners.

Triple Crown wants to remove the previous "section 75" agreement with the city council for serviced apartments at 115 and 117 Grove Street and replace it with an agreement to make a 7000 contribution to the City Car Club.

Councillors were due to rule on the proposal today, although planning officials have said the plans are acceptable in principle.

Permission was granted in 2007 to alter an existing building to form a shop and 21 serviced apartments.
