Bench given to hospital

BONNYRIGG and Lasswade Community Council has donated a new bench to Midlothian Community Hospital.

The bench was officially handed over to the hospital by community council chairman Ian Baxter.

He said: “The new Midlothian Community Hospital is a tremendous asset to the people of Midlothian. The community council felt that we would like to mark this by donating something which patients and visitors would find useful.”
