Beauty queen launches her own chocolates

A YOUNG beauty queen turned entrepreneur has launched her own brand of chocolate.

Sarah Finlay created her hand-made Miss Coco chocolates in a small factory in Cumbernauld, using ingredients from Belgium and Germany.

Ms Finlay, 23, the current Miss Earth Scotland, launched the brand in Glasgow yesterday.

"It was a beautiful day and we were more than happy to tickle people's tastebuds," she said.

"Miss Coco is all about the chocolates I love. I started my business because of this passion about one of the best things in life.

"Basically, I'm Sarah and I'm a chocoholic."

Ms Finlay, a Glasgow University graduate, has the backing of the Princes Youth Business Trust and Business Gateway.

She said she had started her own business to assuage her "chocoholism".
