Bear appeal steps up

A CAMPAIGN to re-home three mistreated former circus bears has stepped up a gear.

Fundraisers braved the elements to raise cash to help the animals, currently in a temporary holding centre in Belgium.

More than 20 families undertook a one-mile sponsored walk around West Lothian’s Five Sisters Zoo, raising hundreds of pounds.
