Be seated for Ford display

MOTORING giant Ford is set to demonstrate inflatable seat belts during an event in the Capital.

The firm said the technology was a "world-first safety innovation". It will demonstrate the seatbelts during a roadshow in Edinburgh on August 23.

The car maker said it would also demonstrate new technology that warns drivers about unintentional lane changes and tells motorists to stop and rest when detecting behaviour synonymous with tiredness.
