Be known to the police

POLICE have invited people to a pair of surgeries to allow residents to get to know their local officers.

Pc Colin Banks, community beat officer for Gullane, Aberlady, Dirleton and Drem, is to hold a surgery at Gullane Library between 10am and 11am on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pc Cameron Tair, community beat officer for North Berwick, is set to host a similar event at the town's Tesco between noon and 1pm on the same day.
