Be Here Now: Better late than never as Oasis star hits Glasgow

FORMER Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher paid a flying visit to Glasgow yesterday, to officially open the first Scottish outlet for his new clothing label, Pretty Green.

The singer, in a green parka and trilby, was met by some 200 fans as he arrived at the city-centre store, shaking hands and signing autographs. Glasgow has a special significance for him, as it was at the city's King Tut's Wah Wah Hut venue that Oasis were discovered by former Creation Records boss Alan McGee.

Gallagher had been due to officially open the store last month, but cancelled due to bad weather.
