BBC criticised for 'appalling' decision

ACTOR Robert Lindsay has hit out at the BBC's decision to axe My Family after 11 years.

Lindsay said the sitcom, which averaged 4.6 million viewers last summer, had many fans and yet the BBC handled the situation "appallingly". The show was axed to "make room for new comedies".
