Bars sign up to Hep C drive
Rates of the disease seem to be rising and there is still relatively low awareness around it.
To coincide with World Hepatitis Day, the banners will provide facts about how people can catch the disease and advertise local support groups.
Chrissy Davis, who runs the Hep C Nomads online forum, said: "The website will be a useful resource for people to source hepatitis C information.
"It's interactive, engaging and includes easy-to-access downloadable materials.
"The website is well laid out and it's good to see information for carers as well as patients."
In addition, groups came together in the Grassmarket yesterday to celebrate the awareness day in an event put on by the Hepatitis C Trust.
