Barnardo’s seeks help

BARNARDO’S is urging people to recycle unwanted Christmas presents by donating them to the charity so they can be sold to raise vital funds.

Cast-off Christmas presents can be handed into Barnardo’s stores in Crighton Place in Leith; Gorgie Road; Nicolson Street; Deanhaugh Street in Stockbridge; Portobello High Street; and Westside Plaza in Wester Hailes.

Marie Williams, area business manager, said: “By donating any unwanted presents you will not only be re-gifting, but also helping Scotland’s most disadvantaged children.”
