Barman Ben serves up a tasty gin win

A LOCAL barman has been crowned the ultimate cocktail maker after a competition in the Capital.

Ben Murdoch from the Tonic Bar was crowned the winner of the Summer cocktail competition hosted by Caorunn Scottish Gin in Hawke & Hunter's Secret Garden recently,

The competition put Edinburgh's best bartenders to the test during a three-hour trial of creativity and showmanship.

Ben dazzled the judges and won 200 prize money for his efforts.
