Bar has taste for festival

This year's Taste of Edinburgh Festival is to team up with bar and restaurant Hawke & Hunter as it launches a new name and branding.

The venue is to be relaunched as No.12 Picardy Place and will sponsor the VIP tent at the festival, which is to be held on the Meadows from July 1-3.

Managing director Barrie Brown said: "This has been in planning for some time but when we were approached about Taste of Edinburgh 2011, we couldn't have hoped for better timing or a better platform to launch. We look forward to treating Scotland's foodies to the No.12 Picardy Place VIP experience in July."

The festival will also feature appearances from chefs including Gary Rhodes, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Mary Contini. For full details see www.tastefestivals.com/edinburgh
