Bar does bit after floods

THE Oz Bar in Candlemaker Row is to hold a charity fundraising event for victims of the floods in Australia.

The bar will donate 50p from every drink bought on January 23 towards relief funds.

In the evening the pub will play music from an Australian singer, with raffles and charity auction. Bar owner Iain Ponton said: "We get a lot of folk from Queensland and the stories on the news are shocking."
