Bank creates 600 new jobs

BANKING giant Barclays was today expected to announce the creation of up to 600 new jobs in Glasgow.

It is understood the plan is to establish a global services hub to support the company's investment banking and wealth management divisions. The move is seen as a boost for Scotland's financial services sector after recent job losses.
