Bands look to hog the stage

THE finalists of a band competition where the winners will take to the stage at the Edinbrugh Hogmanay party have been announced.

Competing in Hog the Stage, the five acts vying for a spot on the New Year's Eve billing are The Stagger Rats, Come on Gang!, Pooch, Kitty the Lion and Jakil. The bands will go head-to-head at a showcase evening at the HMV Picturehouse on Sunday, November 21 to decide who mades the line-up. Tickets cost 5.
