Bands battle for £1k prize

Talented young bands are being given the chance to battle it out for a £1000 cash prize at a new event in the Capital.

Music2Be will put the fate of the bands in the hands of the audience, with the winner netting a 1000 cash prize, recording time and other goodies.

Performed in The Yard on Bonnington Lane, there will be two main stages located indoors, where 18 bands will each play a 30-minute slot,

Organisers said they hoped it would give people a chance to see the future stars of the industry.
