Bag snatcher targets OAP

A PENSIONER was robbed by a young woman who snatched her handbag from a shopping trolley.

The 61-year-old woman was about to enter her home when she was approached by the suspect in St Andrews Street, Dalkeith, at around 4.45pm on Monday.

The thief made off towards South Street, before turning right down an alleyway leading to the High Street. She is described as late teens to early 20s, medium build, with red/brown hair tied up and wearing a long brown jacket.
