Baby left orphaned by car crash dies

A PREMATURE baby orphaned last week when her parents were killed in a car crash has died in a Sydney hospital.

The Royal Hospital for Women said three-week-old Lucy Schollbach died of complications associated with her premature birth.

She was born 12 weeks early on 1 September, weighing just under 3lbs.
