Baby Branson: 'I was naive'

A YOUNG aviation entrepreneur who dubbed himself "baby Branson" has admitted he was "naive" after he set up an airline flying between Edinburgh and Oxford which collapsed within a week.

Martin Halstead, 23, launched Varsity Express on March 1, a new carrier offering daily flights between the two cities.

However, his flights were grounded within days, with the airline citing "operational issues." Thirteen passengers were left stranded at Edinburgh Airport last week and had to find alternative flights after the airline collapsed.
