Baby boy 'drowns in bath'

A BABY boy is thought to have drowned while having a bath at his home in Dumfriesshire.

An investigation is underway into the death of Neo Riley Anderson, who was just a few days short of his first birthday, when the tragedy happened. Dumfries and Galloway Police said trained liaison officers were working with the family, who live at Victoria Road, in Lockerbie.

A police spokesman said: "Early indications are that he drowned, but we are awaiting the results of a post-mortem (examination]." A report is expected to be sent to the procurator fiscal.
