Axe-wielding thugs threaten shop staff

TWO men threatened female shop staff with axes during a robbery on Monday night at a shop in Springboig, Glasgow.

The suspects, thought to be aged 16-18, ran off with a three-figure sum of money and a quantity cigarettes. Police are appealing for witnesses.
