Awards for council staff

A NEW set of awards has been created by East Lothian Council to recognise the hard work of their staff.

East Lothian Council's STAR Awards aim to recognise those who have made an exceptional contribution to the work of the council or to community life.

Anyone can make a nomination, with categories including "Team of the Year", "Customer Excellence" and "Celebrating Youth", and more details can be found online at the council's website.
