Award puts Anja in focus

Anja Scheifler, who studied at Stevenson College, was presented with the merit award by the British Institute of Professional Photography.

Ms Scheifler was presented with the Best PQP Student Portfolio of the Year for her focus on fashion and children's portraits.

She said: "It is a real confidence boost as I try to start out as a professional photographer."

Since graduating, Ms Scheifler has worked for Scottish Field and the Times Educational Supplement Scotland.
