Award joy for shoe boutique owner

AN award-winning retailer has added another trophy to her cabinet after being crowned Drapers Independent Retailer of the Year Award at a prestigious competition.

The Pam Jenkins footwear store on Thistle Street picked up the award after being voted the best from a shortlist of seven independent stores.

The shop was previously voted one of Britain's Best Boutiques 2010 by Vogue Magazine.

Owner Pam Robson said: "We try to offer a range of designer shoes and accessories that appeal to as wide a range of customers as possible."
