Auto crime drive begins

POLICE in West Lothian have launched an auto crime initiative following an increase in vehicle crime in the area.

Plain-clothes officers will be on patrol in "hot spot" areas as part of Operation Firestone, and will respond quickly to any reports of vehicle crime.

Officers will also provide advice on what people can do to prevent their vehicles being broken into.
